Hello! Welcome to my web site.

Who I am.

I am a hacker / designer / artist / bit-of-everything-er based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. I earned a B.S. in Software Engineering from McGill University, focusing my academic work on computer vision and how it relates to human-computer interaction (HCI). I've also been working professionally in web development for 6 years on all stages of the process and am a partner at King Cow Interactive LLC. I love creating things and working with creative people. Sometimes I make art and music too. Poke around the site to see what I've been up to.

Merlefest 2010
Out by the \

After San Francisco, I flew home to MD and spent a few weeks hanging out with the rents. I had a lovely time at home, and got to see a lot of friends that I hadn’t seen in a very long time. It was a really nice way to decompress and relax after so much [...]

Catching up. Refreshing. Starting afresh.
Casey on the overpass

SO it’s been a long time since I wrote anything and a lot has happened since then. I’m now back in Montreal and slowly getting my life more settled and regular. But I’ll get tot that in due time. For the sake of completeness and because I have some pictures to upload, I’m going to [...]

SKYDIVING!
Jump Suits!

Next we headed south stopping a couple places along the way. I know we stopped in Fox Glacier and then Lake Wanaka. I can’t remember but there may have been another place on the way. All fairly uneventful. We did try to go skydiving at lake Wanaka but it was too cloudy. We got booked [...]

Gentle Annie Point
We plucked fresh mussels from the rocks and took them home to eat!

On Steven and Maggie’s recommendation, we went to stay at Gentle Annie on the west coast. It’s kind of in the middle of nowhere and its just a beautiful campground run by an amazing family. They own a 1000 acre lot that has been a giant greenhouse complex with a cafe, a golfcourse, and now [...]

Hike Near Nelson
Panorama of logging area

Next we headed to Nelson, a really cool coastal town on the north of the island. While there, I received an email from Peter Gray, my friend Emma’s father. Peter is awesome. I DJ’d his 50th birthday party. Anyway, the email said that his brother lived in Nelson and that we should stop through and [...]

More Photos from Bangkok

After leaving Pai, I headed back south the Bangkok to hang out with the fam for a few days and get ready to leave. I met up with my old neighbor, Ying again, and once again, she spoiled me rotten with an awesome meal (she works for CitiBank). So nice to see her after 10 [...]

Photos from Pai
One of the hill tribes does this dance for a week every new years. Its realllly slow and boring. I think theres drugs involved.

So I did talk about Pai a little in my last post so you can read the end of that for more info but I’ll do a quick recap. It’s a beautiful town way up in the north of Thailand. I was staying with DJ Lazer for almost 2 weeks. He was great, a total [...]
