I had a flight from Christchurch up to Auckland so it was my last stop on the trip around the south island. Dan and Matt are still in New Zealand now, taking a couple weeks to sell their bikes and prepare to go home. Christchurch was fairly uneventful but I snapped a few nice pics of some Mauri street performers. Also I bought a bunch of sweet wool stuff. New Zealand is absolutely full of awesome wool clothing, but its way too expensive for my budget. We figured we could find good used wool stuff at a thrift store and managed to find a pretty sweet used clothing store which fulfilled our expectations. Got a really nice jacket and 2 pullovers for around $50US. So at last Matt drove me to the airport at 4am on the most uncomfortable motorcycle ride I could ever imagine. I had my huge heavy bag hanging off the back of the bike pulling me backwards the whole time and another big backpack nugget with broken straps sitting on my lap between me and Matt. It was an intense ab workout, but my alternative was to lean backwards off the bike and die, so I had no choice really.
